There are no words to describe how amazing Lex Abshire is. He is more than just a videographer and he truly cares about your big day. Lex reached out to me every month just to see how things were going, he answered any questions that I had, and he even gave recommendations for anything I needed. Lex truly made my big day beyond special. He cares about you are a person before a client and that makes a difference in how he captures his films. Lex treats you like family and makes you feel so comfortable. He went above and beyond what my contract even said. He knew what he needed to do and he did it no matter how long it took. Where do I begin! Lex is a special person- he emulates happiness, creativeness & artistic characteristics. Not only are we honored to have him as our videographer, we now gained a friend. Having now watched our wedding video at least 15 times (obsessive perhaps, but it's just that good) I am still discovering beautiful new details and the depth of craft that Lex employed to make this film truly excellent. When speaking to Lex, we expressed how different we wanted our wedding video. Something unique, Vogue like, what you would see on a high end perfume brand commercial. He didn’t just do that, he produced even more. What Lex does is highlight the narrative and words of the wedding through brilliantly capturing the aesthetic of the day. What he produced is remarkably devoid of the wedding cheesiness that plagues so many videos and photographs. In just the teaser alone, he managed to tell the story of our day, with all these beautiful images that were specific to our wedding still woven throughout. The best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding was hiring Lex!! He exceeded all of our expectations in every way. Lex made us feel so comfortable and special throughout the entire process- from our initial phone conversation to filming us on wedding day, he was so professional, kind and fun! He also made an amazing impression on our wedding party and guests- they still talk about him to this day and I know when their time comes to get married, he will be the first person they hire! As for our actual video, we were completely blown away. We knew it was going to be great because of his previous work but WOW!! Lex does absolutely incredible work. For someone who was hesitant about getting a videographer, I can now say it was one of the best investments I made for this day. He is a true artist and the way he captures my day made me feel every emotion all over again. He incorporated songs we had not only during our ceremony but also during our reception into the video in the coolest way, a tiny detail that I absolutely love. I have had several friends say how much they loved the video and how when the day comes for them, they are going to hire him. You deal with lots of different people and vendors while planning a wedding and it can be stressful. My first meeting with Lex was such a breeze, and he made me feel so much less stressed about planning. He is very personable and loves to get to know his clients. Aside from being a great guy, he’s extremely talented!! I wanted a wedding video that wasn’t super cliche and truly captured the range of emotions of my wedding day.
